An intriguing scheme that transformed the redundant offices of Southern Cooperative Dairies into 16 luxuriously appointed one and two bedroomed apartments.

The period style building was in fact a relatively modern high quality rendition of the Georgian era built in the 1970’s over 5 floors.  The scheme was very well received and sold out quickly to a mixture of homeowners and buy-to-let investors.

This site was purchased by Altavia in late 2014 and permission was granted to transform the neglected building into 8 x 1 bedroom and 8 x 2 bedroom apartments under the Government’s Permitted Development Rights scheme.   Particular attention was given to ensuring the layout of each apartment maximised the existing space as no extensions were permitted.  The gardens were sympathetically landscaped to incorporate a central focus to the principle entrance and low visual impact parking.
